Description

At only 38.4 miles, Section L is easily the shortest section of the Pacific Crest Trail. It runs from I-80 to Highway 49 near Sierra City.

Along the way the trail passes Castle Pass, Road 19N11A, Tahoe N.F. Road 86, Meadow Lake Road 19N11, Tahoe N.F. Road 07 near Jackson Meadow Reservoir, Milton Creek, Wild Plum Campground, Haypress Creek, and the North Yuba River.
